Citroen Creative Awards receives a creative web award

On Friday 11 June 2010, Citroen Creative Awards was nominated as the site of the day and received a web award for its creativity and its web design excellence. Showcased on Design Licks, Citroen Creative Awards is recognised as one of the web awards winners for year 2010.

For the launch of the first international competition of graphic design, Citroen Creative Award, Dagobert for Citroën will support and promote worldwide a setting that will allow designers to express their creativity. With the www.citroencreativeawards.com site, Dagobert opens with boldness and simplicity the doors of urban chic and trendy to candidates wanting to win the CITRON CREATIVE AWARDS. From May 12 until July 4, CITRON is organizing its first international graphic design competition: participants, experienced or novice designers, can indeed propose their own interpretation of the dashboard and roof top of the DS3. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts of the brand but also by people in the world of design, art and media: Sonia Perrin (Director of the Fondation Cartier) who chairs the committee, Thierry Metroz (Director of style at CITRON), Jean Pierre Ploué (Style Director at Peugeot Citroën), Anne Boulay (Editor of GQ), Arthur King (designer, DJ and Director), Xavier Dixsaut (Innovation Director at Louis Vuitton). The winner will see his work created and exposed at the C42, Flagship store of the brand at the heart of the Avenue des Champs Elysée but also this proposal will be look into for a series to be produced on a series of DS3 in 2011. To communicate on this event, Dagobert has designed a dedicated full flash website www.citroencreativeawards.com where participants can submit their entries and listen to Thierry Metroz - Style Director of Citroën about the brief, and view the videos of his team on good tips. The site offers an interactive interface both visual and fun which is changing randomly throughout the navigation. Each page is built so that the content and interface takes the visitor at each click into the world of the CITRON DS3. In the editing of video such as the interview of Thierry Metroz, Citroën Styling Director, the movement of the content alternating between the creation of graphics boards the vehicle, shots of the DS3, or footage of the C42 Flagship Store on the Champs Elysée, all backed up with rhythmic music.
